  Torrevieja United Weekly Roundup
A good away win for the Alevins but hard luck for the other teams despite them all playing some good football. One of these days the luck will be with the teams and all will have victories.

  Walking with Angels!
They are off again! The third annual sponsored Jan’s Easter Hospice Walk in aid of Sweet Charity Hospice Fund is now being organised. This Easter Saturday, hopes to attract the largest group of supporters to date. The route from the Austuria Restaurant on the N-332, Punta Prima, over the blue overpass and beyond the Nautalis Cafe will reach its half-way point at Beach Bar 103. This is an easy walk that anyone can participate in. The walkers will be met with drinks and entertainment. Then it is back to the Asturias for a barbeque and more fun and entertainment from 1-4pm. The funds accumulated by the sponsored walk will go to the ever growing Angel Network of doctors, nurses and carers who serve the Angel Network of the SCHF Caring for Carers Program. The interest and awareness that has been generated by our supporters has put the SCHF in the forefront of Hospice care on the Costa Blanca. Chapters of Sweet Charity Hospice groups are springing up all along the south Costa Blanca and now into Murcia province. Now that Casaverde Seniors Residence of Torre de la Horradada has collaborated with Sweet Charity, people from all over the region are reaping the benefits of highly professional home, hospital and in-patient terminal care. “Now is the time for Hospice Care services” says SCHF founder Martha Harlam. “We address not only Cancer related illnesses but our services are available to anyone of any illness related to people who is affected by terminal illness. The Angel Network can help you cope during this time of stress, emotional and physical pain that accompanies this final chapter in life. Let us care for you in a compassionate, caring manner that brings support and dignity to your loved ones and the patient.” Join us at the Austurias Restaurant on Saturday April 7th in aid of Hospice Care. The walk will be followed by a ‘Big Beach Bash’ much in the manner of the ever popular Christmas Day celebration with music, food, drink and lots of Hospice supporters.
